Accounting Assistant Qualifications: Applicants must have either: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or At least 1 year of hands-on accounting experience with exposure to one or more of the following: General Ledger GAAP Audit support Accounts Payable/Receivable Payroll Accounting Assistant Responsibilities: Process and code vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Manage purchase orders, payment schedules, and vendor statements. Reconcile AP sub-ledger to the general ledger. Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams. Assist with month-end close related to payables. Support additional accounting tasks, such as AR, payroll entry, or audit prep, as needed.
