Job Description:
Cherokee Federal, a leading entity within the Cherokee Nation
Businesses, is currently seeking a Docketing Technician to support
our growing needs in IT services. This role is essential in
managing the collection, entry, and maintenance of data relating to
legal docketing systems. The Docketing Technician will serve as a
critical component of our data management team, ensuring the
accuracy and reliability of our legal databases and schedules
necessary for our federal, state, and local government clients.
This position requires a meticulous approach to data handling,
profound understanding of governmental regulations, and ability
with various IT systems to maintain up-to-date and accessible
records. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the docketing
database. Input and update case details, including timelines,
milestones, and relevant documents in the docketing system.
Communicate with legal and IT teams to ensure information is
accurate and current. Generate reports and track deadlines for
ongoing cases to ensure compliance. Assist in the auditing of data
for accuracy and completeness. Provide training and support to new
staff members on the use of the docketing system. Proficiency in
docketing software and database management. Strong attention to
detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management
skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification in
Docketing Software or Database Management is preferred.
