Job Description:
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and
facilities management industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician
to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part
of the Facilities Support team supporting operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have previous machine maintenance
experience, previous janitorial experience, and a proactive
attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job
Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Lyndhurst, VA Pay Range:
$20.00 Shift: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday What's the
Job? Perform general facility maintenance to interior and exterior
of building, fixtures, appliances, and equipment Schedule and
oversee third-party contractors for repairs or maintenance Inspect
ladders, dock doors, dock lights, dock plates, and personnel door
access for safe operation Maintain Preventative Maintenance
schedule and logs for all buildings and equipment Operate battery
changing equipment/station for powered industrial equipment and
identify faulty equipment for repair What's Needed? Minimum two
years of maintenance and repair experience Strong mechanical
ability High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Basic computer
skills Ability to pass background check and urine drug screen
