Job Description Job Description Established masonry restoration and construction firm seeking an experienced Masonry Estimator with direct experience estimating masonry projects. This is not a general construction estimating role, candidates must have hands-on experience estimating masonry scopes. This role offers a hybrid schedule with work-from-home availability. Position Overview The Masonry Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive bids for masonry restoration, repair, and new construction projects. The ideal candidate understands masonry systems, production rates, material takeoffs, and the labor requirements specific to brick, block, stone, and related work. Key Responsibilities Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for brick, block, stone, tuckpointing, caulking, and waterproofing Utilize Bluebeam for digital takeoffs and plan review (preferred) Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and proposals Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits as needed Coordinate with project management for project handoff Identify cost-saving and value engineering opportunities Qualifications 1 years of masonry-specific estimating experience required Strong understanding of masonry restoration and construction scopes Proficiency reading blueprints and specifications Bluebeam experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable transportation Work authorization in the U.S. What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Consistent pipeline of masonry projects Opportunity for growth Professional, team-oriented environment
