Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on food processing equipment. This role involves mechanical and electrical repairs, breaking down machinery for cleaning, and starting up machinery. You will work within a CMMS system for preventive maintenance and work orders, with limited troubleshooting as machines are not operational at night. Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food processing equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance and use the CMMS system for documentation. Break down machinery for cleaning and ensure proper startup. Handle limited troubleshooting tasks since machines are non-operational at night. Essential Skills Experience with pneumatics, power transmission, pulleys, chains, sprockets, drives, motors, and conveyors. Familiarity with electrical components including control voltage (24V) and up to 480V 3-phase systems. Proficient in troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and understanding schematics. Knowledge of GMP and hydraulics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous maintenance experience. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for machinery. Why Work Here? You will need to adhere to GMP standards daily. The facility provides gowns, steel-toed boots, and all necessary tools. Work shifts are available on the 2nd and 3rd shifts, with specific hours from Tuesday to Saturday (3pm-11:30pm) and Wednesday to Sunday (10:30pm-7am). Orientation and GMP training will occur on the first day, typically starting at 8am or 9am on Monday. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Dulles, VA.
