Duties--- Serve as civilian lead for strategy and policy and supervises a team of strategists, policy experts, and other staff members dedicated to advancing these same responsibilities and objectives.--- Develop and review policy recommendations on a range of strategic issues.--- Communicate the preferences, views, and priorities of the Secretary of the Army to the strategic planning community on a continuous basis.--- Assign work based upon priorities, complexity of work assignments, and the capabilities and job descriptions of the individual employeesRequirements Conditions of Employment--- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.--- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.--- This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to applicant testing and random drug testingSelectees will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testingQualifications Who May Apply: Only applicants who meet one of the employment authority categories below are eligible to apply for this jobYou will be asked to identify which category or categories you meet, and to provide documents which prove you meet the category or categories you selectedSee Proof of Eligibility for an extensive list of document requirements for all employment authorities.--- 30 Percent or More Disabled Veterans
