Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum
of 2 years as an RRT in Adult Critical Care and NICU, with 1 prior
travel assignment completed. License: MD State licensure
Certifications: BLS, CRT, NRP; ACLS and PALS preferred Must-Have: -
2 years of experience as an RRT in Adult Critical Care and NICU - 1
prior travel assignment completed - BLS certification - CRT
certification - NRP certification - MD State licensure - ED
experience preferred - ACLS preferred - PALS preferred Description:
Seeking a skilled RRT for a Neonatal ICU position. The shift is
3x12 nights from 18:30 to 07:00. Every other weekend is required,
and holiday coverage is expected. This role will involve floating
between adult and neonatal units. The traveler will manage airway
devices and perform suctioning procedures. Key tasks include
endotracheal tube management, extubation, and nasal airway
placement. Additional responsibilities include pulmonary hygiene
and sputum collection. Experience with mechanical ventilation and
troubleshooting alarms is essential. The traveler should assist in
high-risk deliveries and perform umbilical blood gas analysis.
Familiarity with various medical equipment such as Draeger V500 and
Servo U is required. Proficiency in drawing and analyzing ABGs is
necessary. Preferred skills include bronchoscopy and knowledge of
inhaled medications. Suitable candidates must possess the flu
vaccine as a condition of employment. Vaccination exemptions for
seasonal flu are not accepted.
