Job Description:
Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse Shift: 3x12 (Night Shift)
from 19:00 - 07:30 Location: Local candidates (within 60 miles from
the facility) Minimum Experience Required: 2 years in Labor and
Delivery Ratio: 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio Call & Weekend/Holiday
Requirements: Call: Required for 36 hours every 6 weeks, or 12
hours per pay-period. Must be available to be on-site within 45
minutes of receiving the call. Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend
and holiday coverage as needed. Floating: Float: Required to float
to like units (e.g., Mom/Baby), with travelers required to float
before permanent staff. Certifications Required: AWHONN
Intermediate ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) STABLE
(for care of neonates) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) BLS
(Basic Life Support) Additional Certification Required: Must
register for C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) during the
compliance phase or within the first two weeks of the assignment.
Preferred Certification: C-EFM through NCC (National Certification
Corporation). Skills Required: Circulate in labor and delivery
Fetal heart monitoring (FHM) Preceptor and/or charge nurse
experience Triage experience is preferred High-risk labor and
delivery experience Facility Overview: Type: Short Term Acute Care
