Job Description Job Description Orthopedic Perioperative Nurse Practitioner -Maryland Full-Time | No Nights/Weekends/Call Join a leading orthopedic group as a Nurse Practitioner in our Perioperative Medicine Program . This independent role focuses on preoperative evaluation and optimization for a multispecialty orthopedic practice including subspecialties- sports medicine, back and spine, foot and ankle, upper extremity, and total joint arthroplasty What You'll Do: Evaluate 10-20 patients/day; provide a comprehensive medical evaluation and risk assessment for patients undergoing elective surgical procedures. Develop a plan of care and optimization plan for patients. Lead the preoperative care process Collaborate with surgeons, specialists, and anesthesia to optimize surgical outcomes.
