2/24/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with
Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Brooklyn,
Maryland, 21225! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours
per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years required
License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, NRP,
C-EFM, STABLE required Must-Have: Previous charge experience
required Description: Labor and Delivery RN Scrub experience is
required. BLS, NRP, C-EFM, and STABLE certifications are required
for submission. Candidates must have at least three years of
experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Float required to
mother/baby and scrub as needed. Call is required for two shifts
per six-week schedule. Every other weekend availability is
required. The patient ratio is 2 patients per nurse on days and
nights. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, and
adults. Experience with high-risk antepartum and LDRP is preferred.
Responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries and
vaginal deliveries. Nurses must be able to circulate for C-sections
and manage complications. Key skills include assessing newborns and
managing labor and delivery processes. Candidates must perform
sterile vaginal exams and triage obstetrical patients. Experience
with the use of EFM and IV management is essential. Nurses are
expected to provide breastfeeding support and lactation assistance.
Knowledge of maternal substance use disorder and gestational
diabetes is beneficial. Compliance with infection control and
isolation precautions is required. Applicants must submit two
supervisor references. No more than seven days of RTO are
preferred. Candidates must have current C-EFM certification at the
time of submission. Additional certifications such as ACLS, AWHONN
