Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse –
Washington Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Washington, DC
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
Three 12-hour shifts per week, night shift. Must be willing to work
in the trauma room as bedside trauma RN and manage 1:5 patient
ratios. Highlights: Fast-paced emergency department treating a
diverse patient population including urgent care, psychiatric,
pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients Hands-on critical care
skills including medication titrations, arterial line management,
mass transfusion protocols, and chest tube care Direct trauma room
experience with bedside trauma nursing responsibilities Cerner EMR
system in use 13-week assignment with opportunity to make
significant clinical impact Must reside at least 50 miles from
facility location Requirements: Current Registered Nurse license in
state or district Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN
program Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience required
Active certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS Cerner
experience required BSN highly desired Willingness to work in
trauma room and manage higher acuity patient loads Why It's a Great
