ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Fairfax, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Every other weekend requirement • Holiday expectations: 1 major, 1 minor • Flexible hours with willingness to accommodate schedule preferences • First to float if census drops to Medical, Surgical, or Observation Unit • Work on 36-bed Telemetry Unit with patient ratios of 1:4 on both days and nights • Support staff includes 5 Techs, Resource RN, and Charge RN out of staffing • 3-day floor orientation provided • Required certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ACLS, NIHSS • EPIC experience required • 1 year PCU experience and telemetry experience required • Care for patients with CHF, stroke, sepsis, cardiac dysrhythmias, pneumonia, rule out cardiac, pain management, and observation status patients • May also care for inpatient population during surge periods • Dress code: Navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops, jackets must be solid navy blue or solid white, long sleeve shirts under scrubs must be navy or white Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Progressive Care Unit with advanced telemetry monitoring capabilities.
