Job Description Job Description Substance Abuse Counselor position available at the Glen Burnie opioid treatment program. Competitive pay based on certification level and experience. Program Hours are 5:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday through Friday. Applicants must be certified by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. Alcohol and Drug Trainees will also be considered for this position. Compensation: $28 - $34 Responsibilities: Responsible for managing client case records ensure that their records meet relevant standards and quality assurance. Assist residents in developing their individualized treatment plan within 24 hours of intake Must be computer literate and preferably Write clinical case notes Communicate effectively orally and in writing with clinical and administrative staff in a team environment Responsible for the completion of the bio-psycho-social assessment. Responsible for the completion of the discharge plan and official reports Assist in the development of client treatment plans and notes Responsible for documenting clients’ treatment goals and processes Responsible for documenting additional treatment care follow-up, should clients require it Responsible for attending clinical meetings Responsible for being aware of all relevant clinical events/activities Qualifications: ADT, CSC-AD or CAC-AD (Required) About Company Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan
