Medical Staffing Facility in Hanover New , New Hampshire Fusion
Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy
Assistant for a 13-week travel assignment in Hanover New , New
Hampshire. Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in
compliance with state regulations COTA Certification (NBCOT)
Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy
Occupational Therapy Assistant experience, but New Grads are
welcome to apply The Occupational Therapy Assistant provides
direct, hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patients in
regaining or developing skills necessary for daily living. Working
under the supervision of a licensed OT, the Occupational Therapy
Assistant implements individualized treatment plans, assists with
adaptive techniques and equipment, and educates patients and their
families on strategies to enhance functional independence. Deliver
individualized occupational therapy interventions and treatments in
accordance with the established treatment plan Maintain and operate
adaptive equipment and assistive devices integral to occupational
therapy interventions Provide education to patients and care givers
about occupational therapy techniques and strategies for effective
self-management Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and other
healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
and ensure continuity of treatment Monitor patient responses during
treatment, accurately documenting outcomes in the medical record
Provide care in diverse clinical settings, including hospitals,
rehabilitation centers, and community clinics, adapting
interventions to meet the specific needs of each environment
Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection
control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards
while addressing patients’ comfort needs during therapy sessions
The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary
position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and
bend Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp,
perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting
with procedures and/or using department equipment Mental
Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the
general public and customers while meeting deadlines under
pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision
occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other
personnel. Sensory - Must possess visual acuity and ability to
