(LPN) license and minimum 1 years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A licensed vocational nurse
(LVN/LPN) is needed to provide dedicated nursing support in a
school setting in Houston, TX. This full-time contract position is
scheduled to start as soon as possible and will last approximately
10 to 12 weeks. The role involves supporting a 1:1 student with
specialized medical needs, including tube feeding, suctioning, and
oxygen monitoring. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct nursing
care and health support tailored to the individual student's needs
Monitor vital signs and manage medical equipment such as oxygen and
feeding tubes Collaborate closely with school staff, parents, and
healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate
and timely documentation of nursing interventions and observations
Adhere to all health, safety, and regulatory requirements within
the school environment Qualifications: Current and active Licensed
Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) license from the Texas Board of Nursing
Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Ability to
perform tube feedings, suctioning, and oxygen therapy confidently
Possession of valid district fingerprints and ability to pass a
drug screen Strong communication skills and a compassionate
approach to working with children Location: Houston, TX (exact
