Job Title: Pediatric Oncology Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Pediatric Oncology Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience (IMC/PICU) License: RN License Certifications: BLS; PALS; APHON chemo/biotherapy provider course/certificate required Must-Have: Must have 2 years of pediatric experience; EPIC experience required Description: The position involves providing care to pediatric oncology patients ranging in age from newborn to 25 years. The unit has a total of 20 beds dedicated to Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant. Diverse diagnoses include solid tumors, leukemia, hematologic malignancies, and blood/bone marrow transplants. Infusion therapy, biotherapy, and chemotherapy are integral parts of the care provided. The unit may also care for general medical-surgical patients if other units are full. Travel experience and EPIC familiarity are preferred. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend. Holiday shifts will be needed as required by the unit.
