Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatrics Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,381 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2-3 years of Pediatric Post Anesthesia Care and Pre-Testing experience License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: Must have experience in Phase II Recovery. Experience with ICP monitoring is required. Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is necessary. Candidates should have skills in procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Experience in the care of ventilated patients is required. Description: The position requires 2-3 years of pediatric PACU experience. No call shifts are required. Candidates with background issues will not be considered. All applicants must hold a valid nursing license. Licensure verification is mandatory before the first working day. Missed shifts due to call-outs must be compensated at the end of the contract. Modules will be non-billable and required to be completed within the first week of the assignment. Compliance requirements will be due prior to the start date. This is a non-smoking facility, with a strict zero-tolerance policy for smoking. Application for licensing must be completed promptly to ensure eligibility for the position. References are strongly preferred and must be available upon request. Candidates should be prepared for potential float responsibilities between similar critical care units.
