About the Position: Our Power Platform Developers design and implement low-code solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform-Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint. Working as part of a collaborative team, they translate client requirements into scalable applications and automated workflows that support process optimization, data integration, and enterprise-wide digital transformation. Specific responsibilities include: Analyze client and end-user needs and technical requirements to design technical SharePoint solutions Design scalable solutions that integrate directly into the client's existing suite of systems Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on SharePoint projects with accountability for project outcomes; design and create SharePoint sites, pages, and libraries for internal and external stakeholders, and provide technical troubleshooting and end-user support as needed Serve as a SME on Power Platform applications-including Power Apps and Power Automate-by designing and creating applications, workflows, and dashboards that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders Develop testing plans for application development, user guides, and technical guides Engage directly with clients to assist them in technical implementation planning and execution Use strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to mitigate internal and external client challenges Provide support and guidance to users on Power Platforms and SharePoint features and functionalities Provide quality assurance reviews of engagement processes and deliverables Develop and tailor comprehensive communication plans for Office 365 and SharePoint initiatives to convey technical concepts to non-IT stakeholders Determine the future state for promoting knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes and systems Propose options to coordinate planning and managing services; convert or rebuild existing forms, tools, and workflows to function in the new environment Perform other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: 2 years of relevant experience in consulting, organizational development, strategic planning and implementation, communications, change management, and/or facilitation Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret Clearance with SCI throughout employment Two (2) plus years of Power Platform experience, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, program management, communications, or a related field Hands-on experience with Office 365/SharePoint configuration including mailbox migration, creating workflows, scripts, and developing reports/dashboards Experience working on federal IT systems such as Office 365 and SharePoint Experience in creating strategies for developing systems and processes Excellent analytical, business, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills Willingness to work at client sites up to 5 days a week in the Washington metropolitan area; occasional travel outside of the Washington, D.C. area Preferred Qualifications: Currently holds an active DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI Five (5) plus years of SharePoint (2013, 2019, SPO) experience, including architecture, development, design, and migration Experience in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) SCRUM Master certification or demonstrated experience applying Agile methodologies in project delivery environments Our Unique Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Employee-funded health savings account (HSA) Unlimited sick leave Generous paid vacation time and eight (8) federal holidays 401(k) Retirement Program where Rockwood provides a 100% match on employees' contributions, up to 4% of their salary deferrals Employer-paid parental leave Employer-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and AD&D Continuous learning and tuition reimbursement allowances Bonuses and incentives for high impact work Monthly cell phone, hotspot, or internet reimbursement Monthly wellness reimbursement Salary Range: The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. Your salary may vary within this range depending on a wide range of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
