Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted with strong skillset. License: Active MD or Compact License required. Certifications: - RRT - PALS - NRP Must-Have: - CPI certification required. - BLS/ACLS/PALS from AHA only. - NRP from NRP or AAP only. Description: The position is focused on pediatric respiratory therapy with an emphasis on NICU. Candidates must be comfortable providing care across different areas of the facility. Flexibility to float is required based on operational needs. On-call duties are not required for this position. The schedule includes every other weekend and holiday. Travelers are required to submit two satisfactory professional references from recent employers: one from a supervisor or manager and one from a charge RN. RTO must be included in the initial submission and cannot be changed once offered. Candidates must have a permanent residence that is located over 50 miles from the facility. Most locations will allow for one contract extension. Candidates must be away from the facility for at least six months before returning as a traveler. Exceptions to this policy are rare. This position does not require a COVID-19 vaccination but does require a flu vaccination with no exemptions allowed.
