our team! Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts
Specialist with experience in U.S. Government contracting to
support contract administration and compliance throughout the full
contract lifecycle. The Contracts Specialist will work closely with
senior contracts staff, program teams, and business development to
ensure adherence to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR),
Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and
other applicable regulations. This individual will assist in
contract preparation, analysis, negotiations, and documentation
while helping safeguard the company’s contractual and financial
interests. Responsibilities: Support the administration of
contracts across all phases, including pre-award, award,
modifications, execution, and closeout. Prepare, review, and
maintain accurate contractual records, such as modifications,
correspondence, reports, and compliance documentation. Assist in
drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, NDAs,
and teaming agreements under guidance from senior contract
professionals. Analyze solicitations, Requests for Proposals
(RFPs), and Statements of Work (SOWs) to identify risks and ensure
alignment with company policies and requirements. Support proposal
development by reviewing terms and conditions, assisting with
pricing inputs, and ensuring compliance with submission
requirements. Serve as a liaison with Government Contracting
Officers (COs), Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), and
industry partners as needed. Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS,
agency supplements, ITAR, and other applicable regulatory
frameworks. Provide contract-related guidance to internal
departments, including program management, business development,
procurement, and finance. Monitor contract performance, including
deliverables, schedules, and reporting obligations. Assist in
identifying and mitigating contract-related risks and support the
resolution of issues, disputes, or claims. Participate in audits,
data calls, and compliance reviews required by federal agencies.
Support the development and delivery of internal training on
contract compliance and best practices. Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Government
Contracting, Legal Studies, or a related discipline (master’s
degree is a plus). 3–5 years of experience in federal contract
administration, preferably within DoD, DHS, or other federal
contracting environments. Required Skills: Ability to manage
multiple contracts and priorities with minimal supervision. Strong
organizational, communication, and analytical skills with high
attention to detail. Experience supporting negotiations with
government agencies and/or commercial partners. Solid working
knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and core government contracting
principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related
contract management tools. Desired Skills: NCMA certification
(CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM). Experience with cost-reimbursable,
fixed-price, time-and-materials, and IDIQ contract types.
Familiarity with EVMS, compliance audits, and DCAA/DCMA
requirements. Experience supporting subcontract administration and
