SUMMARY Arcticom, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Junior Field Support Specialist for the Ground Based Air Defense Engineering and Logistics Contract at Quantico, VA. As a Field Support Specialist, you will be expected to assist the field engineers during demonstration, testing, and training events for the GBAD Engineering and Logistics project. Position will need to secure, setup, maintain, provide security, and tear down test and training sites. Support test and engineering events with Test Incident Reports (TIRs) and participate in TIR Review Boards (TRBs) as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform security and access control of test and training sites to ensure only authorized personnel gain access and that all visitors are recorded in the visitor's logbook
• Conduct site surveys of proposed test and training locations to determine site and security service requirements
• Conduct inventory control of equipment by serial number to ensure all incoming and outgoing system, training and test equipment is recorded in the equipment logbook
• Coordinate with the systems administrator to ensure LAN with Internet access and printing capability for events is installed
• Arrange for material handling equipment for off-loading, loading, and movement of test and training equipment
• Set up and operate test equipment power generation and distribution, and environmental control equipmentQUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.   • Must be fluent with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams and MS Project
  • Licensed driver able to load, unload, drive, and transport government owned, tactical vehicles (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle, HMMWVs, ULTV)
  • 2+ years' experience in a related field
  • High School Diploma or equivalentKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
    • This position requires an Active SECRET security clearance.Preferred
      • Related maintenance, operator, handling certification(s)NECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSEssential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time.             • This position is self-managed and deals directly with the government customer and independently manages all business operations in the execution of their duties.
