Cardiovascular Disease What you will do Lets do this. Lets change
the world. The Senior Associate, Corporate Affairs, Cardiovascular
plays a meaningful role in supporting bold, data-driven and
brand-forward communications and above-brand initiatives that
advance Amgens leadership in cardiovascular disease (CVD). Working
cross-functionally across Commercial, Medical, Advocacy and
Corporate Affairs, this role will support innovative therapies and
disease education initiatives that address one of the worlds most
urgent public health challenges. This position plays a critical
role in advancing Amgens ambition to help halve heart attacks and
strokes by 2030 by supporting the delivery of compelling narratives
that educate patients, healthcare professionals and key influencers
about one of the leading causes of CVD and drive urgency to act.
The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who is highly
organized and able to balance multiple priorities in a matrixed
organization. This candidate is passionate about using new
communications channels to reach key audiences with memorable and
impactful storytelling. Key Responsibilities Support development of
high-priority communications initiatives (branded and above-brand),
primarily working in close partnership with Corporate Affairs
Cardiovascular Senior Managers Develop content across channels,
including patient stories, video content, presentations, FAQs,
toolkits and digital assets, collaborating with agency partners
Lead content review processes in close collaboration with Medical,
Legal and Regulatory and agency partners Develop highly engaging
internal communications that empower employees and demonstrate
impact of Amgens work in cardiovascular disease Collaborate with
Corporate Communications to integrate CV and brand initiatives into
enterprise channels, including Amgen.com and social platforms
Collaborate with Enterprise Media Team and agency partners to
support development of communications materials, and supervise
media coverage/landscape and communicate insights to
cross-functional partners and leaders Demonstrate measurable impact
through detailed results reporting Leverage AI tools and resources
to support program development and execution and measure impact
Adapt quickly to evolving business needs, new data and external
developments Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
adaptable for a variety of audiences. Demonstrated ability to
manage multiple priority initiatives and work successfully with
multiple partners and stakeholders What we expect of you We are all

essential to our success. Basic Qualifications: Masters degree and
1 year of communications or public relations experience OR
Bachelors degree and 2 years of communications or public relations
experience OR Associates degree and 6 years of communications or
public relations experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8
years of communications or publication relations experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical or
healthcare communications Experience supporting review processes
with Medical, Legal and Regulatory partners Familiarity with earned
media, social/digital platforms and integrated campaign execution
Passion for new media channels and continuous learning Self-starter
with sound judgment, collaborative mindset and passion for

expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding
Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several
factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience,
