21701 USA The Frederick National Laboratory is operated by Leidos
Biomedical Research, Inc. The lab addresses some of the most urgent
and intractable problems in the biomedical sciences in cancer and
AIDS, drug development and first-in-human clinical trials,
applications of nanotechnology in medicine, and rapid response to
emerging threats of infectious diseases. Accountability,

it's the FNL way. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The Vaccine, Immunity and
Cancer Directorate (VICD) at the Frederick National Laboratory
investigates immune responses to vaccines in preclinical and
clinical studies. The Frederick National Laboratory (FNL) and other
stakeholders to develop assays with the highest reproducibility,
sensitivity, and specificity for evaluation of immune responses
against this new virus. To address gaps and unmet needs in serology
assay development and standardization and to gain a solid
fundamental knowledge of the immune response to underlying
mechanisms of protection against infection, leveraging the vast
expertise and excellence in HPV serology at the FNL. KEY
ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES The Vaccine, Immunity and Cancer Directorate
is seeking highly motivated Cross Functional Project Manager to
provide program and project management support. The Cross
Functional Project Manager will work directly with the
Administrative Director and other staff to provide operational
support to the programs and laboratory units including procurement,
equipment, stakeholder meetings, project deliverables, reports, and
other tasks to achieve optimal operation. The Cross Functional
Project Manager will perform the following: Working closely with
laboratory units to procure supplies, accurate record keeping,
follow up with vendors as necessary. Maintain accurate and detailed
records for all purchases and reconcile on monthly basis. Manage
equipment for GCLP compliance including vendor setup, ensure
service completion, and obtain certifications. Process equipment
repair and facilities request, follow up, and ensure completion.
Organize and schedule meetings. Coordinate meeting logistics as
required. Prepare memos, meeting materials, presentations, and
meeting minutes as required. Collaborate in the preparation of
scientific proposals and other agreements. Preparation and
submission of Program travel packages. Preparation of progress
reports, 508 compliance and deliverables and submissions. Task
order and grant reports as well as manuscript submissions. Maintain
standard procedures for operation, writing new SPs and making edits
as required. Support equipment management for VICD and LIMS. Other
duties as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS To be considered for this
position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and
abilities listed below: Possession of a Bachelor's degree in
Biology, immunology, molecular biology, Public Health or a related
field from an accredited college/university according to the
Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). (Additional
qualifying experience may be substituted for the required
education). Foreign degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency.
No experience necessary with degree. Knowledge of project
management. Proficient with Windows and MS Office including
Word/Excel/Access. Knowledge of the use of proper
English/grammar/spelling/punctuation. Ability to effectively
maintain files and active records. Ability to obtain and maintain a
security clearance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Candidates with these
desired skills will be given preferential consideration: Possession
of a masters degree in Biology, immunology, molecular biology,
Public Health or a related field In addition to the education
requirement, a minimum of two to four (2-4) years of project
management experience required. Project Management experience in
biomedical sciences. Project Management Professional license. Two
to four (2-4) years of laboratory experience in GCLP, GLP, GMP,
etc. Experience with Deltek, SharePoint, and databases. Must be
highly organized and detailed oriented. Strong organizational and
communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced team and
multi-task to achieve milestones within deadlines. Strong writing

pay range for this job is a general guideline and not a guarantee
